Magnetly: AI-built interactive lead magnets for sites that already have traffic
Most lead magnets are PDFs nobody reads. Magnetly's bet is that an interactive tool (a calculator, a quiz, a diagnostic, a mini generator) converts better because the visitor gets value before the form asks for anything. You paste in your site's URL, it pulls your branding automatically, and about three minutes later you have a working tool you can embed or share as a standalone link. The claim isn't crazy either: the benchmark they cite (16.9x higher average conversion for interactive vs static forms, across 50,000+ forms) comes from involve.me's published data, not their own marketing math.
What you actually get
The flow is URL in, branded tool out, then a horizontal no-code builder to adjust the journey step by step. The interesting bit is the AI prompt control: you can edit the underlying prompt that shapes what each visitor receives, so the output isn't locked to a template. Embeds work on WordPress, Shopify, Webflow and Framer, plus share links for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and Reddit. It's also an official ChatGPT app, which is a distribution channel most competitors don't have.
The case study they lead with is Submagic, and it's a named one with real numbers attached: 15 free tools built with Magnetly, feeding a site doing 150K daily visitors, credited with $300K in added ARR and a 120% purchase uplift. That's a stronger proof point than the usual logo wall, though keep in mind Submagic already had serious SEO traffic. The lesson cuts both ways: this is a tool for converting traffic you have, not generating traffic you don't.
The pricing page's real story
The free tier is genuinely usable for evaluation: two weeks, all tools included, 1,000 credits, no credit card. After that:
- Starter, €29/month: 3 tools, 300 credits per month
- Growth, €79/month: unlimited tools, 1,000 credits per month
- Enterprise: custom credit volume and onboarding
Two things bite here. First, credits. Everything AI-generated burns them, and 300 a month on Starter disappears fast if you're iterating on prompts or running meaningful traffic. The plan ladder is clearly designed so that success pushes you from €29 to €79. Second, the tool cap: three tools on Starter is fine for one site, but agencies testing multiple concepts will hit it in a week. Yearly billing knocks two months off, and all prices are in EUR, so USD buyers are exposed to exchange-rate drift.
Where I'd push back
The uplift stats on the homepage (+30% to +150% lead capture) are labeled "internal data," which is honest of them but still means unaudited. More telling: there is essentially no independent review footprint. No G2 page, no Reddit threads, no Product Hunt discussion worth finding. The only user quotes in circulation live on Magnetly's own blog, attributed but unverifiable. For a tool claiming 2,000+ businesses and 300K+ leads captured, that silence is the biggest con. You're buying on the strength of the demo and the free trial, not on community consensus. There's also a slightly gimmicky live counter on the homepage ("users captured 1 new lead while you were on this page") that undersells how solid the underlying product seems.
Pick it if, skip it if
Pick it if you run a content site or SaaS with existing SEO traffic and your lead capture is a static form or a neglected ebook. The three-minute generation and automatic brand detection mean you can test the concept this afternoon, and the free tier is a real trial, not a demo.
Skip it if you have no traffic to convert (this fixes capture, not acquisition), if you need complex funnel logic and deep analytics (involve.me is the heavier option and Magnetly's own comparison admits as much), or if you refuse to buy anything without third-party reviews. Everyone else should burn the 1,000 free credits before deciding.
